Единая система количественных характеристик и показателей, отражающих имущественное и финансовое положение организации и результаты ее хозяйственной деятельности. Основные нормативные документы, регламентирующие ведение бухгалтерского учета:Федеральный закон «О бухгалтерском учете», Положение по ведению бухгалтерского учета и бухгалтерской отчетности в Российской Федерации, а также Положения по бухгалтерскому учету (ПБУ), утверждаемые Минфином РФ, (см. Российские положения по бухгалтерскому учету, РПБУ).С.б.у. включает такие методы, как инвентаризация, документация счета, двойная запись, бухгалтерский баланс, оценка учетного объекта, калькуляция. Набор итоговых форм, позволяющих оценить хозяйственную деятельность организации за определенный период, составляет ее бухгалтерскую отчетность. См. Финансовая (бухгалтерская) отчетность.
